The Browshill Dolmen is probably the most interesting place to visit in Carlow : it’s situated on the Hacketstown Road, from which is quite visible.
It’s a megalithic tomb built between 4000 and 3000 BC : it’s also known as Brownshill Portal Tomb.
The Carlow cathedral is a fascinating place too, built in the earlier ‘800, in gothic style.
