James Joyce Museum is situated at Joyce Tower, Sandycove in Dublin County and is open from April to September from 10 to 1 and 2 to 5 from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday and other public holidays, the museum remains open from 2 to 6.

The museum is situated in the tower which lies 8 miles to the south of Dublin and is dedicated to the renowned international writer Joyce whose work is mostly associated with the county of Dublin.

The highlight of the museum is the masterpiece of the writer namely ‘Ulysses’ which was inspired by the brief period that the writer stayed in the tower with its panoramic view and beautiful setting.

The collections at the museum include rare and private editions of Joyce, letters, photographs and articles linked with the period when Ulysses was written.
