Budget Night in Galway

If you’re not into the ear-splitting techno scene, Galway has an abundant number of bars that are perfect for a budget-friendly night of pub-crawling. 

One of the most popular spots in town by far is McSwiggans.  With a good mix of both the locals and tourists, the atmosphere is great and the bar staff is top notch.  With wooden snugs and open fires and a live band almost every night, it’s our number one pick in Galway. 

Another good option across the street is Roisin Dubh.  The pub hosts some pretty important local and international acts on live music nights.  When the pub isn’t bringing in the crowds on its concert nights, it’s a great place to enjoy a wonderful pint of Guinness in this cozy traditional Irish pub.
