The Connemara National Park covers 2,957 acres of scenic mountains, heaths, woodlands, grasslands and expanses of bogs. Some of the mountains of the park like Benbrack and Benbaum are even part of the popular Twelve Bens. This park was established in 1980. At present, this park is owned by the State and solely managed for the National Park purposes.
