Faced on Galway Bay there are two wonderful regions which is waiting for you to be explored: The Burren and Connemara.

The Burren is completely dominated by stones, as suggests his name tha in the old irish language means "land of stones". But if you are looking for a place which can offer you different kind of sightseeings, Connemara, with its lakes, moorland and rugged mountains is ready to surprise you.

The Saturday to Saturday Tour of Burren and Connemara, brings the tourist to discover the differences and the similarities between these two Regions, crossing and visiting wonderful towns, spectacular sightseeings, and traditional uses and folkways.

During the first four days we are going to explore the Burren, beginning from the village of Ballyvaughan, our homebase to visit the Land, and day by day you will be shown all the beauties such as the limestone pavements, very close to the Black Head, and several archaelogical remains.

On the fourth day we move to Connemara, crossing Galway City, to have a very pleasure walk through Lough Inagh, where we spend two nights. During the fifth day we visit the Killary Harbour, famous to be the only one fjord of Ireland. Then during the last two days we move to Clifden, the capital town of Connemara, and from there we walk around the island of Inishbofin (the white cow island) and Roundstone Bog and The Dogs Bay.
