The Aghadoe Church is an old monastery which was founded by St. Finian, the Leper in the 7th century. The western part of the existing church is the oldest monument in Killarney. The church and the round tower is known as the most romantic vista of the city. Outside the church, there is the round tower which is 22 feet high and was built by Auliff Morn a Cuimsionach.
