Built in 1843, the Muckross House is located close to the Muckross Lake shores and is amidst the beautiful scenic of Killarner National Park. This house is the focal point of the park and is also an ideal base for exploring its terrain. The Killarner National Park is the part of the Muckross House covering an area of over 10,000 hectares of greenery land.
