Tourist Guide Aosta
Aosta is a small city blessed with natural beauty. It is located right at the grand entrance of the Tunnel of Mont Blanc. It is the ideal place if one wants to enjoy the beauty nature in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It is all surrounded by mountains on almost three sides. This has left the city a bit isolated from other cities which helped it to preserve its natural beauty.
The city experiences a very awesome climate. Most of the year it is cold and the summers are also not so warm. The ancient people were harassed very much by the Romans and were kept as slaves. Due to its front location many wars have been fought on its soil to have a control on the city. The city stretches over an area of just 21 square km. Two rivers flow through the course of this city. Thus the city has its own agricultural business and supplies food to various provinces of Italy. Aosta has acquired a nice status in Italy as compared to other cities in the country for its peaceful atmosphere.
