Brindisi is a city in the Southern part of Italy, in the Apulia region. The city is a major port for trade towards Greece and Middle East.
Worth visiting places include The Castello Svevo or Castello Grande, built by emperor Frederick II, the Duomo (Cathedral), with its Romanesque Style and some other Churches like San Giovanni al Sepolcro and Santissima Trinità, both built in the 12th century.
Within the territory of the town of Brindisi, there are some environmental protected areas, like the Regional Nature Reserve Bosco of Santa Teresa and Lucci, where relaxing and breathing fresh air.
