This church is one of the most significant monuments built in the Apulian Rococo style in Ostuni. It was built around the middle of the XVII century, and is divided into three compartments by two pilasters on either side. The rich central portal has in its centre a cherub and is surmounted by the bishop scoppa’s coat of arms, the bishop who ordered the church to be built. In the lateral compartment two niches flanked by noble coats of arms are repeated. The bell tower stands up on the left side, without any kind of ornaments on it. It is made of a knot stone with a balustrade and a grate -shaped window. The aisles inside the church are characterized by lime whitewash with the richness of rococo decorations.
