Sardinia can be described as the 2nd-bigges island located in Mediterranean Sea. Area of around 24090 sq. Km. is covered by Sardinia. Coastline of this region is as long as 1849 Km. Also, Sardinia is amongst the oldest lands within Europe. At the time of Palaeolithic period, it had been visited frequently. Inhabitaion, however, took place in Neolithic age, i.e. in around 6000 BC.
