Praia a Mare is a beautiful town situated in Calabria worth visiting for many of its interesting sights. There is endless number of beaches that one can find here at Praia a Mare, which offer boat trips along the coast and fishing trips other than water sport activities. Considered as the best beaches in the country, Praia a Mare is to the northwest coast of Calabria, extending for 1.2 miles of pebbles and sand. This beach is equally a part of a small island, Isola di Dino, which offers beautiful sea coves for travelers to explore. Praia a Mare is ideal for those who want to explore and also for those who want to relax simply watching the waves of the sea during the day. What’s more, sports opportunities like diving, boating, rafting and paragliding are carried out here at the beach premises other than volleyball and foosball that are played at the beachbars. Other than sports, many can visit the beach bars that line the beach. The Budha Beach hosts the best beach parties throughout the summer, and is a chilled out place throughout the day with amazing chill out music on the stereo and icecream and homemade pasta at the bar. Sometimes there is even a day disco with sprinklers showering the dancefloor to keep you cool!
