Isola Dino is an amazing island, a dream of millions of travelers. Situated off the coast of Praia a Mare, the island is home to three caves, ready to be explored. These include the Lion Cave, the Waterfalls cave and the Blu Grotto, the largest and popular cave, where the water inside the cave appears to be lit from underneath.
Other than the caves, one can explore the flora and fauna of this place, with rare plants like Dwarf palm, Dianthus rupicola and Palinuro Primula blooming in some of the areas on the exposed limestone walls. Then, one can see and observe the many species of migratory birds too, with gulls nesting on steep cliffs.
The best way to explore the island is to follow the route of east-north-west of the island. The main attraction of this island that attracts visitors from around Europe each year is one mile in circumference, home to six magnificent grottos, accessible by canoe or paddleboat. These transportation ways vehicles can be taken on rental basis or you can join an organised tour offered by some of the 'Lido' beach bars or Hotels along the beach!!!
