The historic center is a unique site to visit in Naples. It has a wide range of some outstanding monuments like the Castel Nuovo and the Church of Santa Chiara. There are also places from the Neapolis which was founded by Greek settlers in 470 BC. Naples historic center has retained the imprint of the successive cultures which emerged in Europe along with the Mediterranean basin.
