Tourist Guide Sorrento
Sorrento is a small, serene city overlooking the Naples Bay in Campania, Italy. The city has a resident population of around 17,000 inhabitants. With its spectacular sea cliffs, impressive scenery and luxurious hotels, Sorrento is a prominent tourist destination.
The climate in the city ranges from moderate to extreme. Temperatures soar in summer, while winters are cold, sometimes chilling. Adequate rainfall is received, with November and December being the rainiest months.
After various battles and struggles, Sorrento started developing with tourism as its main support. Today, the city is famous for its agricultural produce which includes fruit, wine, olives and nuts.
