The Piacenza city is very well known in entire Italy for its art and its historical monuments. The city has been left with several monuments and structures built by the Romans. These are structures are preserved till date as the people here respect their history to a great extent; the city is also famous for the Comunale Palace.
This palace was built as a government building and is the perfect example of the great architecture of the medieval history in Italy. Another tourist attraction here is the St. Francis church which is located right in the center of the city. It has its roots in both the roman and Gothic culture.
