There is the Cathedral which was built in the 9th and 12th century. It was reconstructed in the second half of the 16th century and has 3 naves with some of the known architectural works.
The church of St. Augustine is another must see place. Once this was named as St. Apollinare and its name changed in 1268 when it was rebuilt along with the annexed convent. It got restored in 1452 when the tower was edificated.
There are also palaces and such historic buildings which are worth visiting like the Bishop’s Palace, the Palazzo Cassoli, Palazzo Ducale built in the 18th century. There are also painters and sculptors like Oreste Carpi which are displayed in the museums.
