Italian cuisine is popular world wide. For being deeply mediterranean it is widely based on the use of olive oil. Though part of Italian cuisine, Sicilian, Tuscan, Roman or Sardinian, all are different types of cuisine. Italians make extensive use of olive oil in their cooking. Italians are known to have a penchant for exotic food such as the flamingo’s tongue.
Italy is the largest producer of wine in the world producing a variety of wines. Italians also enjoy other drinks such as Campari.
