Punta Verde Zoo Park
This vegetation rich Punta Verde Zoo Park is an oasis which is surrounded by beautiful streams and lakes. Visitors can find as many as 1200 varieties of around 200 different species which is considered as one of the best zoos in Italy. The animals here can be seen in their natural habitat and live in enclosures made of natural materials.
Hemingway Park
The Hemingway Park is named after the famed Ernest Hemingway who was given a patch of beautiful land in 1953 by the Lignano Pineta Company for building a summer house. The park houses as many as 4000 long stemmed wild Underwood spanning over an area of 4 hectares and visitors can find small wild orchids adding beauty to the landscape. Today the park is furnished with a well equipped gym and a playground for Children. For the entertainment of tourist the park has a small amphitheater where shows are hosted.
UNICEF Park
In 1987 the UNICEF Park was inaugurated and covers the area of about 4 hectares. The park is promoted by UNICEF located in Lignano and is devoted to children in the world. UNICEF Park houses a Skating ring, Outdoor Swimming pool and a mini golf especially for kids.
