Giardino botanico Carsiana is a botanical garden located in the town of Sgonico, in the province of Trieste. Composed in the seventies thanks to a group of botanists from Trieste, it collects plants with more natural characteristics. It is located in a valley of 6,000 square meters placed near the main road connecting the capital with the municipal of Gabrovizza.
This vegetation has been divided into seven zones which reflect the differences to be found in the region.
