Rome is a famous travel destination in Italy and is full of attractions with some of the best places to see and explore. Through planned itinerary, one can get to explore some of the glories of Ancient Rome, the medieval and the Renaissance buildings along with fountains and some great museums.

Although Rome is known as a big city, its historic center is quite small, making it convenient to walk. And if one is planning for his Rome tour, he can check some of the best Italian travel itineraries. These itineraries are properly well planned which makes it possible to explore some of the best places in Rome like the Roman Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountains and Gelato Break and Pantheon.

So, whether one has one day of tour or more than three days of tour, he can get to see plenty of historic buildings, museums, parks and such point of interests whilst in Rome. For the same, one has to plan and take guide of specific itinerary provision which can give him the best possible overview of the city attractions.

Taking our time in Rome,we couldn't miss The Galleria Borghese, justifiably one of the city's premier art galleries. The sculptures by Canova and Gian Lorenzo Bernini and painting by Carravaggio, without a doubt, justify its position as a must see in Rome. 

Then we had a wonderful walk and lunch break by the litthe "laghetto"of Villa Borghese,the beautiful park in which the gallery is located....also in the gardens we found out the circular theatre The Globe housing Shakesperian's plays performances in the summer!  Very close coming out the gardens climbing down the marble stairs,we had such a sight!Right in front of us stood in its white magnificence the Gallery of Modern Art,which couldn't be missed,it houses a permanent collection of Italian and World famous artists...we loved seeing Klimt's canvas The Three Ages of Humanity,and so much more Art to fulfill our eyes and soul.

As we went back towards the central Piazza del Popolo heading for the impressive Trevi Fountain walking up Corso Street,we stopped by Spagna Square...did some window shopping as for our pockets buying something in one of those designer shops would have broken the budget!We stopped by  Cafe Greco, Once the hangout of such literary luminaries as John Keats and Percy Shelley who lived in nearby Piazza Spagna, the Cafe Greco is an odd mix of tails and tourism, tourists are served their coffees by older gentlemen in morning suits.  Pretty posh! There's a good range of teas and a most enjoyable range of paintings adorning the walls of the cafe. While there's much literary history, there's more than a touch of Leicester Square about the areas!
