The Quirinale Palace is also known as the Palazzo del Quirinale in Italian language. This palace is the official residence of the President of the Italian Republic on the Quirinal Hill, which is the tallest of the seven hills in Rome. This beautiful palace was built in 1573 by Pope Gregory XIII as a papal summer residence. This historic building became the official residence and workplace for the Presidents of the Italian Republic in 1946.
