Check out the live music scene in Rome if you love to hear that bass in your chest, feel drums on your feet and melody in your soul!
Rome is a happening city, and there are many venues to venture for live bands... If you happen to be in TRASTEVERE there's the BIG MAMA in a small alley, Via S. Francesco a Ripa, it's the right place if you're into blues,or behind Navona Square there's IL LOCALE, which is a relatively small place but quite famous for its unpredictable programme! But be sure to hear great music there!
You might get groovy in the INIT located in Via della Stazione Tuscolana. Or for the alternative/dark/goth and not only scene there's the BLACK OUT in the Casilina area not so far from Termini, it's a big place with different music in every hall and a nice patio, outside area. Then in the Summer there's a Roman rock radio RADIO ROCK that organizes live music and dancing nights on the beach at OSTIA LIDO, there's a very mixed crowd and great 80's nights!
During the year the radio organizes concerts and live bands nights at the CUBE; there you'll hear mostly metal/hard rock/alternative, or at the CIRCOLO DEGLI ARTISTI a very nice place to dance you're night away! Great drinks also! Keep an eye on the local news papers for events!
