What to do in a city like Rome, with so much history in just on day.
Start your day at the Giardino degli Aranci, a view encompassing Rome from a beautiful terrace. From there, walk down and follow the river to Trastevere; in the heart of it you'll find Santa Maria in Trastevere, an old romanic Church, one of the fiew of its kind in a mainly baroque city.
Have lunch at one of the small cafes in the area before heading back to the river and continueing with your stroll until you reach Castel Sant'Angelo. Then head left untill you hit the Vatican with its famous Vatican Museums and Saint Peter's Basilica.
If you still have time, take a walk to Piazza del Popolo on the other side of the river and clim up the Pincio for a last view of the city.
