Centocelle or Prenestino Centocelle is a beautiful suburban neighborhood which is located 4 kilometers to the east of the city center in Rome. A typical residential area, this district is a must visit for those who love peaceful surrounding.
The place is more known for its super fit strippers, the Centocelle Nightmare, than for its archaeological importance. Initially, this neighborhood was constructed as a military city by Constantine I.
Interesting sights here include the Alessandrino Acquaduct, built in Roman times to supply the Nerone thermal baths.
