Tourist Guide Sanremo
San Remo is a little (57,000 in.) and very ancient (it was founded by the Romans) city situated in the north western coast of Italy. It's known worldwide as one of the most attractive italian destinations, due to its wonderful beaches and the prestigious events that yearly take place here (e.g. the San Remo Music Festival, the Milan-San Remo Cycle Race, the Casino, ect.).
The San Remo's name is given to its protector saint, San Romolo (celebrated on 13th October) : he used to be very popular thanks to his activity of evangelization and aid and charity to the poorest. Still today, San Romolo is used in lieu of San Remo in some public documents and info.
