There is the Promontoria Del Priamar which is near the Rocca di San Giorgio. Here there is a fortress which is named Priamar and which was built after the city fell into the hands of the Genoese in 1528. There is also the Cappella Sistina which is quite adjacent to the Cathedral and built in 1480 to 1483. It contains the Mausoleum which was erected by the Della Rovere Pope Sixtus IV to honor his parents.
The chapel is architecturally same to the chapel that is dedicated to the Cardinal Pietro Riario in Rome. Facing the cathedral is the unfinished Palazzo Della Rovere which was built by Cardinal Giulio della Rovere as a university. There are also the old towers which are worth watching. These towers survived the 1528 war with the Genoa. There is the Campanassa, the toweres, Riario and Corsi, the Ghibelline Tower and the Torre della Quarda which is known as a Torretta.
Then there is the church of Nostra Signora di Castello which has a large altarpiece painted in 1490.
