Seminario Vescovile Di Bergamo Giovanni Xxiii or the Episcopal Seminary Library “Giovanni XXIII” is an amazing historic library situated in Bergamo. This is a religious library that got founded in 1697 and was expanded by 1994-1995. The library specializes in Patristics, fundamental theology, moral theology, sacramental theology and in many other issues too. Moreover, this library occupies almost 6,000 of linear feet of shelves. There are 170,000 pamphlets and volumes in print, from 1601 to the present period.
What’s more, there are also old collections other than valuables that one can search for, with four Latin manuscripts, 12 medieval bindings, 141 16th century editions in 150 volumes and some ancient manuscripts on paper.
