Rivarossi Museum of Train Models is situated in Como, Lombardy. The museum is located in the Riva & Rossi plant consisting of all the train models ever produced by the famous Italian company that was established in 1945. The museum has in display about 5000 items, right from the very first toy trains to the present day models.
It also has collection of American models which is quiet interesting. The museum is worth visiting for knowing the development of the train from ancient days to the modern ones. Every year, thousands of tourists visit the museum but it remains closed on Sundays and Saturdays.
