Theatro Sociale is the situated in the heart of the city Como, Lombardy. It is restored as one of the most beautiful theatres in Italy and is classified in theatre and opera category. It organizes seasonal programs which entertains its visitors at the max. The theatre holds the capacity of almost 2000 people at a time. It remains open for more than 300 days in a year and is home to thousands of frantic activities along with dance shows, plays and seasonal concerts and operas performed by some of the great artists and virtuosi. The theatre has been catching the attention of thousands of art and music lovers across Italy for over years.
This beautiful theater was designed by Giuseppe Cusi in 1811 and got inaugurated in 1813. The shape of this historic building is of a horseshoe lounge having three tiers of boxes and is home to two galleries.
