Mantova is the capital of Mantova Province in Lombardy, Italy. Surrounded by the Mincio River on three sides, Mantova houses around 50,000 inhabitants. The city is a major tourist as well as agricultural centre.
Mantova has a continental climate but is highly variable. Summers range from warm to hot, while winters are sufficiently cold. Spring and fall have pleasant temperatures with dense fog covering the city.
