The Linate Airport is known as one of the two major airports of Milan in Italy. This airport is mainly used for domestic and for short haul international flights having 9.6 million passengers in 2006. Its name comes from a small village where it is located, and its real name is Airport Enrico Forlanini. Built in 1930s, this airport was also one of the world’s first airport and aerodrome.
