If you want to eat well you have to go to Brera, a very nice area where you can find very nice traditional restaurants. In Brera there is also the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II where they have a lot of exhibitions of famous painters. On Sunday there is an antiques market and it's close to the centre.

There is an absence of any directions to the main centres of interest, especially when you start going out into the suburbs, compared to other foreign cities. When you think of Milan, you think centre. How many times I've pointed out to visitors a few steps from the cathedral where to go.

There's everything in Milan. Above all it's well-known in the world for fashion and offers all the advantages in every field. After what I've said above it seems to me that adding more is a waste of time.

Places to see in the surrounding area: Monza, its Cathedral, the Royal Villa and the magnificent rose garden, to be seen in spring. In December every year there's the Rho artisan fair, it's very interesting and fun, there are lots of good deals to be had. Food, gifts, traditional products from Italy, across Europe and the rest of the world, local restaurants, music and many events.

There's everything you could want, but only the most famous brands. There are lots of opportunities to shop, lots of deals to be had and easy payment options. Everything is great, the people are great, the restaurants are fantastic, the people and the transport are exceptional. What else can I say, Milan is definitely the best city in Europe.

It's very nice, I'm very happy to live here! I recommend the Piazza del Duomo, the steps, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Porta Romana. It's really worth seeing, visiting and experiencing! There are plenty of places to play sports, a lot of restaurants and bars, nightlife etc. ...!

Milan by night is beautiful, there are many bars and restaurants to go to, I prefer the Navigli area which is very quaint and charming. The night in Milan was restless over the weekend, full of the young and the not-so-young who want to have fun. In Navagli you get bars where there's good music, suitable for the slightly older people, too.

Go to Navigli for happy hour, the columns of San Lorenzo for a cocktail outdoors, Corso Como for bars. The whole city is full of bars and restaurants to be discovered. Milan offers the solution to all your needs. In Moscova there's the Club, a nightclub full of Erasmus students.

The items ready-made, local crafts don't exist. The best souvenirs in Milan are to be found in the city centre, go to the new square with skyscrapers and the boutiques there. The Meravigli streets, in the semicentro and the quadrilatero in the centre are interesting.

You should definitely visit the centre on foot! Bikes are not bad either, use the car to get to more distant places. Don't overlook the metro, although I don't recommend it at peak hours. Taking the historic tram is not bad. Visit Brera in the evening, the same goes for the ships. Don't forget the museum of science and technology, my favorite.

The transport is exellent. I definitely recommend the underground and buses to get around, they are well connected. You can get around quite easily and and arrive to places on time. They should extend the public transport in surrounding municipalities to better connect airports, thereby making it cheaper.

Leave the center, walk around in search of hidden corners or take a stroll through the shops. You'll never get tired of Milan, ask the locals where to go, don't rely only on tourist guides, there's much more to see. Corso Como, Corso Buenos Aires, Porta Ticinese! Try to enjoy the city in every way: culture, shopping, nightlife and other events. Happy holidays

Milan Duomo is the largest Gothic-styled cathedral in the world and is especially visited for its famed golden statue. The masterpiece titled ‘Last Supper’ painted by Leonardo da Vinci himself is housed in the Santa Maria della Grazie.
The church of San Satiro with its high altar and the Capella della Pieta with its ornate columns and frescoes are in the vicinity. The Sforzesco Castle houses a number or small museums containing pieces of art of great masters and findings from archaeological digs in the Lombardy area.
While in Milan, be sure to venture out ... More into the Niagli area for some of the best designer boutiques of Europe or to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the world’s oldest shopping mall.
The grand Carthusian monastery in the nearby town of Pavia makes for a one-day trip from Milan; it is still home to some monks.
Another neighbouring town is Cremona renowned for its pink marble cathedral and beautiful piazzas.
