The Duomo is the world’s fourth largest church in Lombardy, Milan.

The Duomo came into being in the late fourteenth century with the construction being initiated by the archbishop, Antonio da Saluzzo. Today, it is among the world’s largest churches and also the second largest Gothic cathedral in the world.
