Ambrosiana Library & Picture Gallery is an art museum and also a library which is visited by locals and tourists from across the globe. This building built in 1603 to 1609 has a famous library having 700,000 printed volumes, 2,000 incunabula and 35,000 manuscripts. There is also a significant picture gallery which was founded in 1618.
