Make a wish. Such a cosmopolitan city has to offer will fulfill each and every desire for a Glamour night in the heart of Italy's fashion and glam capital. And not to neglect a more cultured glamour in the Opera scene so alive here! And of course a positive mark that along all other peaks of Italian mastery in the world has such a relevant role both in past history and in modern culture so...let's begin!

To start with all the main Milan newspapers are bursting on Wednesdays and on Thursdays with club schedules and cultural events and you can refer to those sections to fulfill your wish for the night but if your Italian isn't supporting you in this choice, well, no problem! In the central Duomo Square check out the Tourist Office: it is full of fliers and ads for nightlife, there you'll find listings of restaurants, bars and clubs.

If you're into the Performing Arts right on the other side of the Gallery from the Duomo there's Italy's premier Opera House, the Teatro Alla Scala! Remember that tickects go on sale 3 months before the performance, you can purchase them online or in one of the many travel agencies around the city.

If you'd like to see a Movie in English there are 3 cinemas showing original versions: Anteo, Arcobaleno and Mexico all easy to get to by underground.

As for cool glam bars to go to in Via Brera 32 (Lanza Tube Station) there's the Bar Jamaica. Brera is also the quarter of Milan where one of the best Academies of Fine Arts in Italy is located and the famous Pinacoteca where you'll find great art masterpieces. Back to glam now!

A very crowded Aperitivo Hour (about 6-8 pm) is in the Bar Magenta, a Liberty Style bar next to the Cadorna Metro Station at Corso Magenta: here you can load up free pasta and nice munchies, in a delicate decorated lively bar.

If you're into Jazz the best venue is Le Scimmie: it's in the Navigli quarter. Following the music we get to a scene that in Milan changes all the time as it is ever renewing itself!

Models, actors, sport stars and the fashion set is in Hollywood club; it's small, chic and centrally located in La Brera at Corso Como 14; just across the street you'll find a Moroccan-flavour lounge club: the Casablanca.

The Rolling Stone is the definitive place for live music in Milan: it's located in Corso XXII Marzo 32 and it's been in business since the 50's. You can get there with tram 12, 27,45 or 92. Everybody knows it so you can easily get there; as it is just so popular most of the performers are playing rock! Prices vary on who's on stage that night, of course!

For a more milanese experience, try the San Lorenzo quarter: there are great bars and cafes, while the Navigli quarter is more suburban and Brera is always full of event nights. Taste Milan's fun!
