Tourist Guide Monza
Monza is 15 km north of Milan in Lombardy and offers visitors many attractions.
The centre of Monza is well kept and it's historic centre has much to offer keen sight-seers thanks to the Duomo, Arengario and Teodolinda's Tower to name but a few.
The Park at Monza is one of the largest urban parks in Europe and every year in September hosts the Italian Formula GP, as well as other major motorsport events. The park itself features vast areas of open fields as well as forests, a small river and the beautiful 'Villa Reale', a magnificent 18th century palace and gardens built under Austrian rule. Rent a bicycle or take a walk to enjoy the park at its best.
The historic 'Autodromo Nazionale Monza' racing circuit is a big draw even when there is no motor race being held. You can still see the ancient, steeply banked circuit dating back to 1922 crossing over the modern circuit at several points.
Monza offers many unique delights as well as wide open spaces and nature to compliment Milan's bustle urban landscape.
