The only way to get down to Urbino is by bus or by car. Fano and Pesaro are found to be the towns nearest to Urbino. These are the places accessible by train. Buses from Fano or Pesaro to Urbino happen to run on the frequent basis. There also ply daily buses in to Urbino-Montefeltro from ‘Rome’. It should be noted that they don’t run on Sunday. If one travels from Tuscany, he/she can come to Urbino through San Sepolcro. It would, however, prove to be extremely lengthy. As such, traveling by train till Pesaro or Fano and then taking a bus route to Urbino would be the best option. It would be convenient to a great extent.
