The University of Urbino is an Italian university which is situated in Urbino. It was founded in 1506 and has at present almost 20,000 students. Many of the students are from overseas. This university however has no central campus as such and occupies many buildings throughout the town and in surrounding countryside. This university is divided into eleven faculties like faculty of Pharmacy, law and such faculties. The university’s main attraction is the botanical garden, Orto Botanico “Pierina Scaramella”. The university is supported by the States and is renowned for its courses in Italian language.
