The city area is occupied by large and huge ancient monuments and buildings. Some of these buildings are now being used for commercial purpose. Some monuments are kept intact as the city people have a great respect for their historical monuments.
These monuments are worth watching for tourists coming from all over the world. There a few palaces also still standing in the city well known for their infrastructure. Among these palaces the Ducale Palace is a well known in entire Italy. The scripts and drawings on the palace walls are its specialty to watch. The city is also filled with some ancient churches.
The main tourist’s attractions of this city are its grand churches of old times and the palaces. Most of the tours are organized just for the cathedrals in Urbino. The city also runs a botanical garden in the complex of the University of Urbino.
