Duomo means Cathedral, the Cathedral of Benevento. The first version of this church dates back to 7th century AD. This historic building was enlarged in the 17th century and after the 1943 bombing, this is the only historic monument still standing. This Cathedral is still intact and the façade of the massive bell tower in 1280 is decorated with marble Roman having two mullioned windows. It consists of 72 panels which depict the scenes from the Christ life and a representation of the suffragan bishops.
