The city of Turin is home to three important railway stations namely Porta Nuova, Lingotto FS and Porta Susa.
Porta Nuova is a railway station that primarily serves mid-range as well as long-range trains. The trains that connect Turin to Genoa, Bologna and Cinque Terre start from Porta Nuova and also stop at the Lingotto FS railway station.
Porta Susa railway station offers services to some local trains. The trains for Milan, starting from Porta Nuova, also stop here. Some other trains also stop at both the stations.
