The Mole Antonelliana is a major landmark of Turin city and is named after the architect who had initially built it, Alessandro Antonelli. At present, the 267 meters tall historic building is home to the National Museum of Cinema and is known to be the tallest museums in the world. Conceived and constructed as a synagogue, it opened to public in 1889 and is a worth visiting sight.
