B osco del Vaj, situated near the Collina Torinese Park, a part of the Natural Reserve, is one of the most visited places in Turin and in Italy too.
This park was established in 1978 and was initiated due to some rare species of beech trees found here generally in mountainous regions. Moreover, one can find certain rare species of flora which includes spurge laurel, orchids and turk’s cap-lily.
For animal and bird lovers, this park provides different types of birds and animals like tawny owl, green woodpecker, sparrow hawk, weasels, foxes, badgers and squirrels.
