Villasimius is located in the province of Caligari of  Italy.

Villasimius got its name in the year 1862, but the earlier name of this town was Capo Carbonara because of the exploitation of coal that was practiced throughout the land. This place has always been integral part for sea traffics.

To experience the panoramic view of the land one should plan for a long stay in Villasimius. Set in the midst of water bodies, Villasimius offers a wide variety of wining and dining options. One can also taste the mouth watering local cuisines as well as Italian food at the same time.

The three most important festivals are The Madonna of the Ship wrecked, Santa Maria and St Raphael Archangel. One can hear the Sardinian music and see Sardinian traditional clothes during these festivals.
