Having built in the year 1143, this monument has been named after Eloisa dell Martorana. This person was the one who had founded Benedictine convent in the vicinity. Barouque interior is just amazing- completely covered in ‘frescoes’ that are inclusive of ‘Annunciation’, ‘The Presentation at Temple’, and ‘The Nativity’. The Arches also contain figures of ‘Saints’.
