The Zisa is a beautiful castle situated in the western side of Palermo in Sicily. This is a 12th century palace which comprises of elaborate arches along the front façade along with the ‘Fountain Room’, the main reception area of the castle. This area is two stories in height. This castle was built for King William I of Sicily by Arabian craftsmen. The architecture of this castle is inspired by Moorish architecture.
