A specialty museum, the Papyrus museum is named after papyrus which grows in Siracusa only. Further, the museum is totally dedicated to this rare plant in the city. It contains some of the ancient papyruses and also some of the plants which dates back to the 15th century BC. Moreover, it is also possible to see lots of objects which are made from this plant and a collection of materials which were once used by the Egyptian tribes.
