Fined in Arezzo

Eight months after visiting Arezzo we got a whopping 107 Euro traffic fine for being photographed driving in a limited traffic area in town.
We had gotten lost, looking for a parking area and we got out of the one-way streets in the historic area as quickly as possible and found an official parking lot.
Getting a heavy fine when you are back in the U.S. and can't defend yourself seems a little unfair and certainly leaves a bad taste from an othewise enjoyable trip. We got lost in a number of other towns in Tuscany, but this is the only ticket. We will bypass Arezzo on our next trip to Tuscany.
