Alpi Apuane can be described as a mountain range located in Tuscany’s northern part. It’s a portion of ‘Apennine Mountains’. These ranges have been included between valleys of Magra and Serchio rivers. Also, Lunigiana and Garfagnana lie on the north-western side. This name has been derived from Apuani Ligures ‘tribe’ that lived over here previously.
